It has been designed primarily for kit cars based on the MX5 running gear as the calipers are suitable for up to 750kg cars.
The kit comprises of:
1 x pair of new Wilwood Powerlite 4 pot calipers (modified to take a standard banjo bolt) 1 x pair of fast road pads (Wilwood BP10 compound or equivalent) 1 x pair of custom fabricated Aluminium brackets All bolts and fittings to fit the kit to your car.
(Colour selection is for disc coating, not caliper colour!)
Optional: 1 x pair 276x10mm Sport rear discs
The kit has been tried and tested on several different types of car both on the road and track and has performed flawlessly.
Type III Mil-Spec hard anodising replaces Type II black anodising as the standard finish on all base and powder coat finish caliper models. This process produces a thicker, harder surface with a rich, medium-grey appearance. More importantly, it creates a more durable wear surface in the piston bores, with increased resistance to abrasion and corrosion over the entire external surface of the caliper.
