This kit has been put together as a cost effective performance front brake kit for the Mazda MX5 Mk3 (NC 2006-2015). The kit has been thoroughly tested by many owners in many different applications from normal road to heavy track use.

This kit comprises of:

1 pair of brand new red Brembo 4 pot calipers
1 pair of brand new 320x28mm discs (plain/grooved/dimpled/drilled finish)
1 set of Brembo fast road pads (Ferodo DS2500/PBS Pro Race pads available for extra cost)
1 pair of custom braided hoses
1 pair of custom fabricated adaptors with bolts and fixings

(Colour selection is for disc coating, not caliper colour!)

Please note this brake kit is made to order, so may have a leadtime of approximately 7-10 working days.

  • Would these brakes fit under standard 2013 Mk3.75 Sport Tech wheels (17x7 et55) or would spacers be needed? Thanks!

    They'd likely need spacers. Best way to check is with the template on the product page.

  • Hi, i've seen that other brands may require some grinding of the wheel hub and the backing plate may need cutting down (MX5 NC2) does this kit negate doing that or do existing parts need to be modified to ensure they fit.

    The hub doesn’t need modifying to fit this upgrade, however the dust shield will need trimming or removing as the 320mm disc doesn’t fit in the dust shield designed for a 290mm disc. 

  • What is the difference between the mk2 and mk3 calipers?

    The Mk3 calipers are slightly larger and use larger pads.


  • Do I need an other brake master cylinder for this upgrade?

    No, the calipers work fine with the stock master cylinder.
