Ask a Question-
Hi I'm looking for new brakes for my MX5 97 NA. I'm turbocharging it and to register it and make it road legal It will be used on the street mostly but some trackdays per year. I will need to upgrade the brakes. In the rear I think NB sport brakes is enough (to register it). What about brake bios valves? I came across these and I wonder what the biggest difference is between the dynalites and midilites, the price difference is not that huge.
The Midilite calipers are radial mount and supplied with 300mm discs. Dynalites are lug mount and supplied with 280mm discs.

Hello, I am interested in your big brake kit but i'm wondering... How or where can we find the rotors when the ones provided with the kit are worn out ? Can we find rotors with same dimensions made by others brands ?
The discs used in this kit are found on the VW Corrado G60 and can be sourced from all major brake disc manufacturers.

Do you offer the same kit for the rears, and does that have a separate hand brake caliper? Thanks
The rear big brake upgrade is here The handbrake mechanism is built into the caliper. We could design a rear setup with seperate handbrake mechanism but the cost would be higher. Email sales@freakyparts.co.uk and we'll go through some options.

is the third option bar, were you can select multiple colors, the pot caliper paint? kind regards, David

Hi, what is the difference between the dynalite and powerlite wilwood calipers? Which would you recommend for a turbo mx5 that will see track work?
The Powerlite caliper is smaller and more suited to lightweight kit cars rather than heavier road cars. They run smaller pads than the Dynalite and Midilite options so comparative pad life would be reduced.

What diameter pistons do these Dynalites have?
These calipers are supplied with 35.1mm (1.38") pistons. However if you wanted something smaller or larger, let us know and we can supply.
-
What's the difference between the dynalite and the midilite calipers?
The main differences are the Dynalites are lug mount and fitted with stainless steel pistons and no dust seals, the Midilites are radial mount and fitted with aluminium pistons with dust seals.
