This kit is supplied with the lightweight high performance Midilite caliper which has been tried and tested in every aspect of motorsport.

The kit comes supplied with new larger diameter discs and longer braided hoses allowing you to easily bolt the kit onto the car.

This kit comprises of:

1 pair of Wilwood Midilite 4 pot Calipers
1 pair of 300x24mm vented front discs (plain/grooved/dimpled/drilled finish)
1 pair of fast road pads (Wilwood BP10 compound or equivalent)
1 pair of custom fabricated brackets
1 pair of longer front braided hoses

(Colour selection is for disc coating, not caliper colour!)

You can download a printable template here to check if the brake kit will fit behind your current wheels. Spacers may be required for OEM wheels.

Type III Mil-Spec hard anodising replaces Type II black anodising as the standard finish on all base and powder coat finish caliper models. This process produces a thicker, harder surface with a rich, medium-grey appearance.  More importantly, it creates a more durable wear surface in the piston bores, with increased resistance to abrasion and corrosion over the entire external surface of the caliper. 

Please note, this brake kit is made to order, so may have a leadtime of approximately 7-10 working days.

  • Will these wilwood midilite brake calipers fit behind standard EK9 or DC2 wheels and if not how would i get them to fit?

    These calipers are wider than the OEM setup so if you're using the standard 15" or 16" wheels you will most likely need wheel spacers.

  • Bonjour, quelle est la forme des plaquettes pour les midilite?

    This caliper uses the Wilwood 7816 pattern pads

  • Do these fit the mk1 1.6 or would I need to swap out the carriers for 1.8?

    These fit any Mk1/2/2.5 MX5. The existing carriers, calipers and discs are removed and new fitted.

  • Can you supply kit without pads (?£). Also incorrect template is being shown in current Q & A.

  • Hi! I have your kit with "Wilwood Dynalite calipers" and I had to use 15mm spacers, so I'm not sure if a 300x24 brake disc will fit within a 15" wheel?

    Hi. The caliper is around 5mm wider, but the disc used sits 5mm further back, so the width of the kit should be very similar. You will also need an extra 5mm of clearance on the radius where the caliper sits inside the wheel.
