Wilwood 4 pot Midilite Brake Kit

This kit is supplied with the lightweight high performance Midilite caliper which has been tried and tested in every aspect of motorsport.

The kit is designed to bolt to the OEM diameter brake discs without modification of the wheel hub making this the easiest 4 pot upgrade available on the market.

This kit comprises of:

1 pair of brand new Wilwood Midilite 4 pot Calipers
1 pair of brand new fast road pads (Wilwood BP10 compound or equivalent)
1 pair of custom fabricated brackets

You can download a printable template here to check if the brake kit will fit behind your current wheels. Spacers will be required for OEM wheels.

Type III Mil-Spec hard anodising replaces Type II black anodising as the standard finish on all base and powder coat finish caliper models. This process produces a thicker, harder surface with a rich, medium-grey appearance.  More importantly, it creates a more durable wear surface in the piston bores, with increased resistance to abrasion and corrosion over the entire external surface of the caliper. 

Please note, this brake kit is made to order, so may have a leadtime of approximately 7-10 working days.

  • Will these wilwood midilite brake calipers fit behind standard EK9 or DC2 wheels and if not how would i get them to fit?

    These calipers are wider than the OEM setup so if you're using the standard 15" or 16" wheels you will most likely need wheel spacers.

  • I have 282 mb6/mc2 front brakes on my civic. Will these fit?

    This kit should fit so long as you have 282mm front discs.

  • Is it possible to order the custom fabricated brackets separately, if I already have a set of calipers?

  • Hello, I am interested in your Wilwood 4 pot calipers. I have a Rover 200 running a 282mm disc, 24mm thick. Can you please advise if your Honda kits fit this application too? My setup is similar to the MG ZS/ZR application. Thanks

    Yes, we have sold this kit to a number of MG owners with no reported issues.

  • Do the brake hoses need to be changed or can the originals be used on a 2011 MX5 nc?

    If no hoses are ordered, we will modify the calipers to take a standard hose fitting.

    Yes. You will need 282mm discs as well.

  • Hi Guys I am thinking of fitting 4 pot caliper to a 2013 plate mx5. This has 17" wheels are they ok without spacers Also going to get new discs. the car is use weekly and 10 track days a year do you have any advise on type of disc to use. We have just completed a 2 day track day in Rockingham with the mx5 club, and a sprint at Cur-bough we managed to completely use a set of Yellow stuff pads.

    This brake kit would fit with 17" wheels but may need spacers to clear the spokes, depending on the wheel design. Drop us an email at sales@freakyparts.co.uk and we can go through some options.

    The pads used in the Wilwood calipers are a different shape and size to the OEM fitment. 
    If there's a specific pad compound you would like to use, let us know and we'll see if we can source it.

  • Is there a willwood kit that's applicable to the dc2 1996 spec integra type r

    This kit will fit the 96 spec DC2 with 282mm front discs.
