Hi there, I'm looking to get the "Mazda MX5 Mk1/2 (NA/NB) Big Disc upgrade - Front" for my MK1 mx5 1.6. Could you advise me on what else I need for the installation and also what parts I should get to tackle the rear brakes, will the Mazda MX5 Mk1/2 (NA/NB) Big Disc upgrade - Rear be suitable, if so, please could you advise me on what I will need to purchase. Thanks in advance
This kit is designed to fit the 1.8 carriers and calipers, so you would require those, along with 1.8 pads to fit the adaptors and 280mm front discs.

Would I need to fit bigger wheels ? I have the 15 inch Enkeis
If you’re fitting it inline, the ends don’t matter as both fittings are easily available in the UK

Are the 1.6 calipers on the mk1 not the same as the 1.8?
The carriers used on the 1.6 are different to the 1.8, so you would need these carriers to fit to the adaptors. The 1.6 calipers can be used (if fitted upside down) and 1.8 pads also.
